RENO, Nev.—AmeriFirst Home Improvement Finance, LLC, which enables contractors to offer affordable financing options to homeowners at the point of sale, has been awarded the 2022 Financial Services Organization of the Year by Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET).
The award recognizes AmeriFirst’s significant direct investment in the tech-enabled delivery of its finance offerings. AmeriFirst will accept the 2022 Financial Services Organization of the Year at the NCET Technology Showcase and Awards Gala, which will be held April 7.
“We’re honored to have been chosen by NCET for this award,” said Eric Gangloff, CEO of AmeriFirst. “We feel it recognizes our customer-centric service which we are able to bring to our customers with recent enhancements we’ve made to our technology.”
Gangloff added, “Contractors need technology that enables a fast, seamless experience when they’re in a customer’s home. They need to be able to secure credit on the spot, and our improved mobile technology makes that simpler for them.”
The improved mobile app is one of several new offerings unveiled by AmeriFirst. “We want to give our contractors a competitive edge in closing more deals,” Gangloff said. “That’s why we recently dropped our interest rates by an average of approximately 1% across our contractor programs, even though prevailing market interest rates have gone up. For example, we now offer a flat-interest-rate 8.99% to the homeowner program for those contractors which give us first-look paper, for applicants at 660 or higher FICO scores.”
AmeriFirst is also broadening acceptance criteria to a wider range of consumers. “We’ll now consider applicants with FICO scores as low as 600, from the previous minimum of 640.” Gangloff said. “This makes it more likely for home improvement contractors to be able to secure financing for all their customers.”
